Servicios Tecnologicos de Incineración, S.A. - STI , is the only duly organized company, according to the Republic of Panama Laws and Regulations, to offer garbage and residues reception services in the Atlantic Side of the Panama Canal.

Our main goal is to provide a systematic method to control and enforce marine enviroment garbage handling.

Who Need Our Services?

All 400+ gross tons vessels and every vessel that transport 15+ passengers should request our services in order to comply with MARPOL 73/78 and Panama's Ministry of Agriculture - Quarantine Directorate general regulations regarding garbage planning and handling system.

As we can handle 20 cubic tons a day, we can guarantee treatment and final disposal service to all vessels docked on the Port of Cristobal or any of the Colon main ports.

At your request, we will countersign and certify your onboard solid waste disposal plans indicated to your crew members according to written procedures for collecting, storing, processing and garbage disposal, including onboard equipment, as regulation 9 (2) item V of MARPOL 73/78 .
